Applications are open for the 2019 Habitat for Humanity summer program. Any current District 225 sophomore or junior who is at least 16 years of age by June 1 may apply for the course titled SLP-161.
The course consists of a training day, overnight work week in Michigan and a group presentation. The unique program provides students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills while challenging themselves to try new things as they significantly impact the lives of Habitat families and their surrounding communities.
*Students will receive .25 credit under “Service Learning Practicum” upon completion.
