GBN will host Night in the Classroom for parents. This year the event will be held on Thursday, September 5, from 6:45 – 9:30 p.m. The format for the evening will allow you to follow your student’s daily schedule and hear presentations from classroom teachers that focus on expectations, goals and grading procedures. It is an excellent opportunity for you to meet the faculty and establish a foundation for a positive working relationship between you and the school staff.
Please have your student’s schedule with you for the evening. If for some reason you cannot access a schedule for your student, please go to the Student Services Office on the evening of the event. Maps will be available at the entrances of the school, to assist you in locating classrooms.
Parking for this event is always a challenge. We encourage everyone to come a few minutes earlier than normal in anticipation of traffic congestion. Please do not park in the Highland Bakery lot.
Night in the Classroom is designed to provide a forum to discuss the academic program at GBN. If you have specific concerns regarding your student’s performance, please contact the teacher at another time. We encourage parents to call or email teachers at any time during the school year.
