     •    DECA? Regionals testing? What the HECKA?  That's right next meeting is regionals testing.  Report to A204 afterschool Thursday 12/13 with a charged computer.  More info is on the google classroom.  Can't attend, you must email GBNDECA to set a make-up time.  

    •    Do you have any musical instruments at home that you no longer use? Tri-M Music Honors Society will be collecting instruments to donate to elementary school students in the Waukegan area. If you would like to donate, you can drop off the instruments in the CPA Lobby on Monday, December 17th between 6:30 and 7:30 PM, or you can bring them to Mrs. Nichols in the Choir Room.

    •    Attention Juniors! Don't forget that we offer both SAT and ACT prep courses right here at GBN! You can choose between a Saturday morning course or a weeknight course. You can register in the bookstore OR at Information has been posted in the Main Office window. See Mrs. Panzer in the Main Office with any questions.

       •    Global Citizens Club and Environmental Club are hosting a movie night Thursday, December 13th, at 3 PM in Room A204.  We will be showing the movie Home Alone and pizza and snacks will be provided.  There is a $3 suggested donation.  All proceeds go to charitable causes.  Hope to see you there!

    •    Do you want to compete in a Smash Ultimate or a Mario Kart elimination tournament? Join us after school on Wednesday, December 19th in B130. Please register beforehand by following the link found on posters around the school. Buy-in fee is $5 for one game, and $8 for both! Snacks are also for sale and there will be prizes for the top finishers!

    •    GBN's Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA) is meeting this Wednesday after school in room A208.  Come join us for our holiday party. If you've never checked out a meeting or if you are a returning member, we want to see you there! All are welcome. 

    •    Have you ever thought about exploring the world? Travel the globe through movies with Foreign Films Club. This week's movie is the South Korean comedy 'I Can Speak" on Friday, December 14th at 3:00 in Room A204. Popcorn will be provided.

    •    What the hecka? Trying to get in the holiday spirit? What about Gingerbread DECArating!! DECA is hosting a gingerbread decoration contest during all three lunches on Tuesday, December 18th in the SAC. Bring $2.00 to decorate your OWN gingerbread cookie! This is available to ALL students and staff!

    •    Attention Spartan buddies, we will be having a cookie decorating event in the student cafeteria on Thursday, December 13 from 3 to 4 PM. please meet us there and new members are welcome! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Scott or Mrs. Schneider.

    •    Congratulations to Jared Kuper for bowling a score of 300 for a perfect game yesterday in match competition vs Niles West. Quite an accomplishment, congrats Jared!
