  • Interested in writing, poetry, and art? Come to the S.C.H.O.O.L. Mag meeting TODAY, Friday, September 17th, in the ARC after school to explore what School Mag is and to plan for the year. New and previous members are encouraged to attend! Food and drinks provided!

  • Attention Seniors:  Remember to register in Naviance to attend the college visit. Visiting today are the following colleges:
    10:00 AM Southern Methodist University 
    11:10 AM Tulane University 
    12:15 PM Rollins College 

  • The winter sports season is almost here and it's time to get rollin' with bowling.  GBN Boys bowling will have an information meeting on Wednesday, September 22nd in the broadcasting room, A110, right after school.  Hear about the upcoming season, how to prepare, tryouts, and how to be a part of one of the most successful sports at GBN.  If you can't make the meeting after school on September 22nd, swing by the broadcasting room, A110, to see Coach Rubin anytime.

  • Are you a math whiz? A big sports fan? Know a lot of random history facts? Come check out Scholastic Bowl, our academic trivia team, after school on Wednesday, September 22 in B127 for some fun trivia! All students are welcome. Questions? See Mrs. Reimer in science. Hope to see you there!  

  • Congratulations to the Glenbrook North Marching Band, who earned second place in their division at this weekend's annual Chicagoland Marching Band Festival for their show, Fantasmic. Additionally, congratulations to drum major Jonah Prober for earning 'Class A Most Outstanding Drum Major' as well as 'Most Outstanding Overall Dum Major.' Come cheer on the GBN Marching Band at their next competition, which is on Saturday the 25th in Romeoville. Power, class, pride!

  • GBN Students!! If you are interested in joining the Speech Team come to our Info Meeting on Tuesday, September 21st, in room A114. Additionally, there will be in-person auditions on Tuesday, September 28th. Please contact Mrs. Ilie in the Social Studies Department with any questions. We hope to see you there!!

  • GBN GOES PINK is September 20 -25. Wear PINK all week to show your support in the fight against cancer. Pick up your GBN GOES PINK T-SHIRT in the student activity center during lunch or after school that week. Wear your new GBN GOES PINK T-SHIRT Friday, Sept. 24. Spartans are Stronger Together! 

  • ATTENTION, ATTENTION:  All Girls interested in playing basketball this winter. There will be an informational meeting about Pre-season on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:30 am in the little theater. If you have any questions please contact Coach Capalbo.

  • Thursday, September 23rd, will be the first meeting of the Global Citizens Club for the 2021-2022 school year. Global Citizens Club focuses on providing assistance and educational information for international relief efforts as chosen by you!  Last year, Global Citizens Club partnered with Hope For The Day, a local organization that promotes mental health awareness throughout the world.  If you would like to take on a leadership role and help people around the world please join us at 7:30 AM in Room A204 on Thursday, September 23rd as we plan our club goals for the year.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Grimaldi in Social Studies.

  • NAHS will have a meeting after school on Wednesday 9/22 in room c100.  We hope to be painting in the courtyard.  See you then.

  •  Hey, did you pick up your 2021 yearbook yet? Today, Friday 9/17, is the last day to pick up your 2021 Laconian from the GBN Bookstore. Stop by anytime today to get your copy. And don't forget to bring your ID with you.
