Every year at graduation time, a certain amount of confusion exists regarding graduation tickets. We hope this communication will clear up that confusion.
We will provide two tickets for each of the graduates participating in the ceremony.
All tickets will be issued to the graduates at the completion of the rehearsal on Friday, May 29, 2020. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced, so please remind your seniors of the importance of being careful with the tickets once they receive them.
Extra Ticket Request
In April you will receive more information about requesting a 3rd ticket. All graduates participating in the ceremony receive two tickets and have the option to request a 3rd ticket.
Please note: Seniors with outstanding obligations will not receive tickets on May 29, 2020. All financial obligations to the school must be met by 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Please discuss this with your senior and emphasize how important it is to have all obligations cleared prior to the deadline.
Every guest must have a ticket to enter the CPA. If one of your family members with a ticket needs special seating accommodations, please complete the Google Form so that we can plan appropriately. Please note that this is not a request for an additional ticket; it is merely letting us know necessary accommodations for someone who has a ticket. The Google Form for Accessible Seating will be available in May.
The commencement exercises (approximately 90 minutes) will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020. The doors of the auditorium will open at 2:15 pm. Seats are not reserved. Individual members of a group will not be permitted to save seats in the auditorium. If a member of your party requires special seating, you must request that via the Google Form which will be sent to all senior families in early May. The senior faculty sponsors will discuss the accommodations with your graduate at the conclusion of the rehearsal on May 29th. All members of a group are required to have tickets. All non-ticketed guests are cordially invited to watch the ceremony via large screen closed-circuit television in E106 (Music Area) adjoining the Center for the Performing Arts. Also available will be a live internet broadcast of the ceremony on the Glenbrook North home page.
