World Languages
The GBN World Language department prides itself on preparing our students to communicate in a second language.
Our ultimate goals are to prepare students to be global citizens and find their passion in learning a different culture and language, as well as inspiring students to continue their language studies past high school, and to achieve the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy.Through the use of a language-rich classroom environment, authentic language texts and materials, and a curriculum created for communication, we expect our students to leave our language programs with a minimum of intermediate-level second language speaking proficiency.
