Tickets
Tickets to this year's Homecoming Dance are on sale from Wednesday, August 27 through Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in the bookstore. Students must present a 2025-26 school ID when purchasing a ticket.
One high school-aged guest is allowed per GBN student, and all guests must have a guest form filled out from our Deans' Office. If attending with a student from a different grade level, attending the lower-grade portion of the dance is necessary. Dates are optional as many students go in groups.
Prices:
- $25 - Students with an Activity Pass
- $30 - Students without an Activity Pass and guests
- $40 - Per person at the door the night of the dance
Dance
Saturday, September 13, 2025
- Frosh/Sophs: 6 - 7:30 p.m. - All attendees will need to be in the dance by 6:30 and must stay until 7:30 p.m.
- Jr's/Sr's: 8:30 - 10 p.m. - All attendees will need to be in the dance by 9 p.m. and must remain until 10 p.m.
- Students, please enter the building at the athletic entrance, Door K.
Paint The Town
Date: September 8
Students are invited to join their clubs and/or athletic teams in downtown Northbrook after school on Monday, September 8 while they paint town windows to celebrate Homecoming Week. Questions should be directed to gbnsaboard@glenbrook225.org.
Homecoming Assembly
Date: Friday, September 12
The assembly is for students and staff only. We invite our parents and families to view a live stream of the assembly by tuning into gbnbroadcasting.com.
Come Home to GBN
Date: Friday, September 12 at 5 p.m.
Location: Football Stadium
Our students, alumni, and community members are invited to participate in our family-friendly tailgate and new parade around the stadium and watch a fireworks show after the football game. Join us for games, performances, music, and purchase food from food truck vendors. The parade will start 30 minutes before kick-off.

Turnabout
Turnabout 2026
Glenbrook North Band presents Turnabout 2026! Come join us for a night full of live entertainment and activities! This year’s Turnabout dance will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in the competition gym. This is an all school dance.

Tickets will officially be on sale January 7-21. Tickets will be $25 with an activity pass, $30 without an activity pass, and $40 at the door
Dance Information
Saturday, January 24, 2026
The dance will start at 7:30 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. and students will be required to be present from 8:30-9:30 p.m.
GBN students who wish to bring a guest from outside the school must submit an approved guest form to the bookstore when purchasing tickets, no later than January 21, 2026. You must bring an ID for each ticket purchased! Please remember: no heeled shoes, string bags, or backpacks are allowed at the dance.
Prom
Prom 2026
Prom will be held on May 16, 2026 and is hosted by the junior class board.
Ticket and Dance Information
Tickets
- Prom tickets are $100 per person. Cash, credit cards, and checks are all acceptable forms of payment.
- Students can purchase tickets in the GBN bookstore from April 20-May 1
- Paper checks will not be accepted for senior obligations after May 15, 2026 (this does not affect any other grade level).
- The GBN Bookstore will continue to accept cash and credit card payments for graduating students. Payments can also be made online.
- School identification is necessary for the purchase of a ticket. Students 2025-2026 IDs must be presented for the student, as well as their date.
- Permission slips for underclassmen or students attending from another school must be signed and approved by the Dean’s Office before purchasing a ticket. No dates over the age of 20 are allowed.
Dance Information
- Date: Saturday, May 16 from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
- Location: Westin Chicago North Shore 601 N. Milwaukee Ave Wheeling, IL 60090
- Prom includes dinner and dancing with music provided by Bizar Entertainment. The dance is chaperoned by GBN administrators, staff, and a police liaison officer.
- Once students leave the Westin, they will not be allowed to reenter.
- Due to issues related to safety and security, students cannot bring bags into the venue, nor will they be able to have parents bring bags at the end of the event. If students need to change after prom, this needs to occur at a location off hotel grounds.
Dinner Information
- Dinner for this year’s prom is TBD
- Students are asked to arrive promptly at 6:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. and all students must be present at this point. Please check traffic and give enough time for the drive.
