High Energy Physics Club

High Energy Physics Club is for students interested in doing research on cosmic rays using the school’s detectors. This is part of a world-wide network of over 200 schools involved in this collaboration. Activities include experiment design and execution, discussions of high energy physics, guest speakers, and possible tours of other high energy physics laboratories. This is open to all students, and there are no prerequisites.

Science club is designed to meet the needs of students interested in doing investigative and exploratory work in areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Student activities have included construction of robotic vehicles, rockets, competitive projects and research partnered with NASA, MIT, and other organizations. The club is open to all students and meets weekly.

So, whether your thinking of a career in medicine or have a strong interest in the sciences, this club is for you. The club meets twice a month throughout the school year. Meetings may consist of invited clinical speakers, hands-on activities, and/or trips to local hospital or clinics.

Technology Club will bring together students to talk about emerging technologies and their effects on everyday life. We will bring in guest speakers from a diverse set of careers to talk about how technology is impacting their work, and where they see trends heading in the future. We also plan to discuss new technologies ranging from self-driving cars, drones, facial recognition, DNA sequencing, machine learning, and technology's increased role in fashion, the arts, and sports.
