Instructional Supervisor of English

Dr. Anna Schultes

Dr. Anna Schultes began her tenure as Instructional Supervisor of English at Glenbrook North in August, 2021. Prior to her employment with Glenbrook High School District 225, she spent 12 years at District 214 where she demonstrated success as a teacher, program coordinator, and professional development provider at Buffalo Grove High School and across the district. In her role at Buffalo Grove, Dr. Schultes taught multiple ESL and English courses, including Advanced Placement Language and Composition and dual credit College Composition. Additionally, Dr. Schultes has extensive experience in designing and implementing professional development in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. In 2017, she was recognized by District 214 as a Distinguished Teacher of the Year. Dr. Schultes earned a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Warsaw, a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Northeastern Illinois University, and a Doctorate in English-Modern Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from North Park University. Dr. Schultes is a member of the Conference on English Leadership and the Illinois Principals Association.
