Grad Night

Grad Night is a drug and alcohol-free, all-night celebration that includes entertainment, food and activities. The event is at GBN on night of graduation, Sunday, June 2, 2024. There is no admission cost and all graduating GBN seniors are invited; historically over 90% of the class attends. It’s a night for the senior class to make final high school memories, in a safe environment, before everyone moves onto their next chapter.

Why have a grad night celebration?

Grad Nights mission since its inception 31 years ago is to safeguard our graduates and the entire Northbrook community on the night of graduation, which is historically a very dangerous night. Seniors check in at 11pm, and are not allowed to leave until 5am the following morning. While Grad Night is a huge and fun celebration, the safety of our students and community are our #1 priority.

How does grad night happen?

Can I help? My child is not a senior.

Yes! This evening is the ultimate “pay-it-forward” event, where parents from ALL grades are involved. Your child will be a Senior before you know it and will benefit from the same support the GBN Community provides every year. We have been successful for over 30 years due to the financial and volunteer support we receive from the entire community - not only Senior parents.
