• The GBN Bookstore has free PE shorts in multiple sizes, as well as a limited number of tall PE shirts. Available to staff and students as long as supplies last. 

• Tickets for the Orchesis Dance Show, Envision, are now on sale! General admission tickets are $10 online or at the door. The show is Thursday, December 12th, Friday the 13th, and Saturday the 14th at 7 PM. We hope to see you there!

• Are you interested in learning more about Latino and Hispanic culture and history, or doing team-building activities with friends? Join Unidos! Come this Tuesday after school to room A258. We hope to see you there. Bring a friend! 

• Stop by the SAC or the cafeteria hallway during your lunch today and tomorrow to write letters of support to the Charles D. Owen High School community!

• Do you love to bake challah, hang out with your friends, and eat great snacks? If you do, stop by the culinary room after school on Wednesday, December 11th to bake challah with the Israeli Culture Club. The challah that we bake will be sold during the bakesale that the Israeli Culture Club will have the next day on Thursday, December 12th during all lunches. Hope to see you all there!

• The Mental Health Advisory Board will meet on Wednesday, December 11th after school in Room F215. We will plan our outreach activity for finals and celebrate the holiday season. All are welcome!

• Attention Seniors: Your class of 25 T-shirts have arrived! Stop by the SAC ticket booth during your lunch today or tomorrow to claim your pre-paid shirt. Questions can be directed to Ms. Fluegge.

• Come join the GSA after school on Monday, December 9th, in room A262.  We will be celebrating the holidays with food and fun.  All are welcome!

• Attention Spartans! Make sure to bring cash to your Gold 2 class TOMORROW to participate in our schoolwide Bingo Game Thursday, December 12. $25 will earn your class TWO cards, and $50 will earn FIVE cards. But the fundraising doesn't stop there! The top three classes that raise the most money will win a FREE class breakfast! All money will go to our Hurricane Relief efforts for Charles D. Owen High School in Black Mountain, North Carolina. All donations will be collected Tuesday, December 10th, during your Block Two Class. We're Stronger Than the Storm!

• Pan-Asian Student Society will be having candy canes & hot chocolate on Monday, 12/9, in the Little Theatre after school. Have a Blast with PASS!

• Calling all future Lacrosse legends! There will be an informational off-season meeting on Thursday, December 5th, at 3:15 PM in the Little Theater. If you are interested in playing this spring, you should attend this meeting. In the words of the great philosopher Aristotle: "The energy of the mind is the essence of life.” Let’s channel that energy and be a part of something bigger than us all! If you have any questions, contact Coach Geo in PE.

• Current Events Club will be meeting on Thursday 12/5 after school in Room C205. Make sure you fill out the Google Form in Google Classroom if there are specific topics you want to discuss! Snacks will be provided and all viewpoints are welcome, any questions come see Mr. Cipolla in Social Studies.

• The Spartan Medical Club will be hosting a meeting on Thursday, December 5th before school in the Science Resource Center. Join us for a fun hands-on activity, learning and practicing suturing skills on bananas! We hope to see you there!

This Wednesday, 12/4 Intramural ping pong is serving up some action after school in the cafeteria! We will host a tournament open to all students - no experience needed! See you there, paddles up!
